ALEKSANTERI INSTITUTE VISITING FELLOWSHIPS 2011-2012

The Aleksanteri Institute is pleased to invite applications for
Aleksanteri Visiting Fellowships for the 2011-2012 academic year from
scholars holding a PhD degree and pursuing research that relates to
the Institute's research agenda. The Fellowship carries a monthly
stipend of 2400 euros to cover all the expenses related to the
research visit that can range from two to four months. The Visiting
Fellowship scheme is intended for scholars who reside outside of
Finland.

The deadline for applications is 4 March, 2011.

The Aleksanteri Institute is the Finnish Centre for Russian and
Eastern European studies and an independent institute of the

Call for applications for doctoral studentships at BEEGS, Södertörn University

A total of 15 doctoral studentships are available this year in the Baltic and East European Graduate School (BEEGS).

Södertörn University invites applications within five disciplines: Business Administration, Ethnology, History, Political Science and Sociology. These disciplines belong to two research areas: Historical Studies, and Politics, Economy and the Organisation of Society.
