Oxford Post-Doc in Gender/Feminist Theory

The Standing Committee for Women's Studies at Oxford University, UK, in association with the Faculties of Classics, English, History, Modern Languages and Philosophy, is currently advertising a two-year post-doctoral position from October 2011 in Gender/Feminist Theory. Funded by the Mellon Foundation, the position is a Professional Development Fellowship offering individual research mentoring and supported experience in university teaching for an outstanding recent Ph.D graduate specialising in some aspect of gender/feminist theory. Applicants must have received their Ph.D, or be expecting to receive it, between October 2008 and October 2011. The person appointed will be affiliated to one of the five participating Faculties (whichever is most appropriate to her/his background and interests), and will contribute to Oxford's graduate program in Women's Studies, which is multi-disciplinary but has a strong emphasis on the Humanities.
